What, when and how details here:
What type of donations?
Hardcover fiction and non-fiction, large fiction and non-fiction paperbacks, DVDs, graphic novels and all children and young adult materials. The Friends really appreciate your choosing us to receive quality used books and media materials. Please check that your donations do not have water damage, ripped or missing pages, mold, stains, or debris. Furthermore, keep in mind that there are a few items the Friends cannot accept including VHS tapes, small mass-market paperbacks, textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest Condensed collections, magazines, computer manuals, games or puzzles.
Where do I drop them off?
Kindly bring your boxed or bagged donations to the Library Circulation Desk. It would be most helpful for the staff if you could use boxes or bags that you can leave at the library with your donations. Thank you!

During regular library hours starting July 1!

We’re back! After a pandemic hiatus, the Friends of the Lynnfield Library is having its first in-person Spring Book Sale since 2019. Join us on the Lynnfield Town Common on Saturday, June 19 from 9am-2 pm. This is a great time to take advantage of the wide selection of gently used books and DVDs we’ve accrued and to secure your summer reading materials! Pricing is $2 for all adult books, $2 for all DVDs (adult and children), $1 for children’s books, and 2/$1 board books. All proceeds will support programming at the Library. 

Please note to keep our delivery routes manageable, we are only delivering to Lynnfield addresses, or you must be willing to pick up in Lynnfield.

Here are all the key points you need to know, then scroll below to see the books:

1. We will posts groups of books with a numbered list. If you want to purchase the book, just scroll to the bottom of the page.
2. Create a new comment, all you need is your name and email (email won’t be public, only shared with us). Indicate the number associated with the book(s) you would like to purchase.
3. The books are first come, first serve.
4. Book price varies from $1-$2, see note with the books. Unless otherwise noted, the books are hardcover.
5. We accept Paypal, Venmo, cash or check.
6. The posts will be updated periodically to cross off the books that have been claimed.
7. Books will remain for sale through Thursday, December 17.
8. Once the book sale closes Thursday, we will email you with the list of books purchased and the total amount owed, and arrange for payment and delivery of the books to your Lynnfield address or for pick up.
