Lynnfield Day, formerly Geraniumfest, dawned bright and sunny on the Town Common. Friends’ volunteers were there early to set up tables and arrange the books. And book lovers came early to browse the wide variety of adult and children’s books, DVDs, music CDs. The friends raised close to $1,000 this year, and it will be spent judiciously on library needs. Thanks to everyone involved in the sale for their hard work – from sorters and packers, movers and sellers and to the library staff for their continued support!
