The Friends of the Lynnfield Library are making final preparations for our favorite fall event. The Annual Used Book Sale takes place Saturday, October 22 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Meeting House with the “bag of books for $6” taking place in the final hour. A Preview for Friends’ members only will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, October 21, and all Friends’ members are welcome at that time.
According to Friends’ President Ann Decker, “Each year we look forward to this fundraiser which brings the community together for a day of browsing, buying, socialization and fall fun. The Annual Fall Used Book Sale plays a large part in funding the Library programs and services that we all enjoy.” Please come and check out our great selection of high quality used adult hardcover non-fiction, small and large fiction and non-fiction paperbacks, DVDs, and music CDs. Our collection of children and young adult materials should also not be overlooked!
