Community Forum – Library Building Construction Project – Thursday, March 30, 2017

The Lynnfield Library Building Committee and Library Board of Trustees will be hosting a Community Forum on March 30th, 7:00 pm, at the Lynnfield Meeting House, with refreshments and family activities beginning at 6:30. This event is open to all community members, business owners, community organizations, and anyone interested in the library building project. Activities for children will be available for the duration of the Forum.

The conversation about the future of the library will continue, and will focus on the current status of the new building project. Plans, as well information on the economic impact of the new building will be shared. Attendees will have the opportunity to share thoughts and give feedback, which will help shape the next phases of the project. Capital Facilities Advisory Committee Chair, Ted Caswell will briefly update attendees on the CFAC plan.

The schedule for the evening includes:

6:30 – Refreshments and activities
7:00 – Explanation of the current library plans, and cost impact
7:15 – Discussion and community input
7:30 – Capital Facilities Advisory Committee update
